Reaching Elite Agent at Real Broker: Growth, Gratitude and God’s Faithfulness
Reaching Elite Agent at Real Broker is something I’m incredibly grateful for every year.
The people are always the biggest part of it for me. The clients who trust me, the people who come back, the referrals from friends, family, past clients and people in the community. None of that is ever lost on me.
This year, I reached Elite three months earlier than I did last year.
I’m proud of that. I work hard, I set goals and I care deeply about doing this well. But it has also made me think about how much this business has grown, the people who have helped shape it, the opportunities that continue to come my way and, more than anything, God’s faithfulness through all of it.
What does Elite Agent mean at Real Broker?
Elite Agent at Real Broker is recognition for agents who reach specific production benchmarks within their cap year.
There are numbers attached to reaching Elite, of course.
But when I look at those numbers, I see people.
Every sale represents someone making a decision about their life. Sometimes it is exciting. Sometimes it is hard. Sometimes it is something they have planned for years, and sometimes life changed the plan completely.
Getting to be part of those moments is something I still don’t take lightly.
I have been a REALTOR® since 2017, serving Grande Prairie and the surrounding area, and relationships and referrals have played such a huge part in building the business I have today.
There are a lot of REALTORS® people could choose to work with. When someone chooses me, and especially when someone trusts me enough to put my name in front of a person they care about, that means a lot.
Growing the business with intention
As the business has grown, there have been some important changes behind the scenes too.
Bringing Lydia into the business over a year ago was a big one. Having her support has helped me create better systems, stay organized and make room for more growth while still giving people the level of service I want them to have.
My dad, Dennis Stauffer, has also been a really important part of my real estate story.
He has been a REALTOR® for more than 20 years, so real estate was part of my life long before I became a REALTOR® myself. Having someone so close to me with that much experience, someone I can learn from, bounce things off of and occasionally disagree with, has been such a gift.
We definitely do things differently sometimes, but I value his perspective and everything I have learned from him over the years.
I’ve also found myself looking at new opportunities and thinking more about what I want this business to become.
That has meant meeting with local businesses, having conversations with people who are building really great things here and looking for more ways to connect what I do with the community around me.
Grande Prairie is a huge part of my life.
It is where I live, where I have raised my family, where I built my business and where so many people have supported me along the way.
I genuinely love getting to know the people behind our local businesses and learning more about what is happening in our city. I talk a lot more about why this place means so much to me on my How I See Grande Prairie page.
The more my business grows, the more I want it to be connected to the community I get to call home.
God has been in all of it
This is the biggest part of the story for me.
I believe in working hard. I believe in setting goals, learning, making smart decisions and being willing to try something new.
But I also know there is so much of this business that I could never have orchestrated myself.
There have been opportunities that came at exactly the right time.
People placed in my path who I never would have expected to meet.
Referrals I didn’t see coming.
Conversations that opened doors I wasn’t looking for.
And there have also been things that didn’t work out the way I thought they would.
Looking back, I can see God in all of it.
His provision.
His protection.
His timing.
And sometimes His redirection.
I don’t want to build something simply because I can. I want to be paying attention to where God is leading me and trusting Him with what comes next.
That doesn’t mean sitting back and waiting for things to happen. I still have goals. I still work really hard. I still think about what I can do better and where I want to grow.
But I also know that my plans are only part of the picture.
My faith shapes the way I make decisions, the way I treat people and the way I want to show up in this business. I share more about that on my Faith, Integrity and How I Serve page.
Reaching Elite three months earlier this year is something worth celebrating.
But it is also only one small part of what I believe God is doing.
The people behind the milestone
There is absolutely no way I get to celebrate something like this without acknowledging the people around me.
My clients, first and foremost. Thank you for trusting me with such important parts of your lives.
To the people who continue to send their friends, family members, coworkers and neighbours my way, thank you. Referrals are such a huge part of my business, and I never take for granted what it means when you put my name in front of someone you care about.
To Lydia, thank you for everything you do behind the scenes and for the role you have played in helping this business grow.
To my dad, thank you for the years of experience, advice and perspective you have shared with me.
And to my family and friends, thank you for being in my corner.
You hear about the exciting days, the stressful days, the deals that come together and the ones that keep me awake at night. You celebrate with me, listen to me, encourage me and continue to support what I am building.
I am incredibly grateful for all of you.
And I’m grateful for this Grande Prairie community that continues to support local people and local businesses in such a big way.
What I want the next season to look like
I have goals. Lots of them.
I want to keep growing.
I want to keep looking at new opportunities.
I want to keep building relationships with people and businesses throughout Grande Prairie.
I want to keep learning.
And I want to keep making the experience of working with me better.
At the same time, I want the heart of my business to stay the same.
I want people to feel comfortable asking the question they think is silly.
I want to be honest when I think something isn’t the right move.
I want clients to know they can reach out years later.
I want relationships to matter more than numbers.
That is also why hearing how people felt after working with me matters so much. You can read some of those client reviews and experiences here.
So yes, I am proud to have reached Elite Agent at Real Broker again and especially proud to have reached it three months earlier this year.
But when I look at everything behind that milestone, proud isn’t the word I feel most.
Grateful is.
Grateful for my clients.
Grateful for every referral.
Grateful for Lydia.
Grateful for my Dad.
Grateful for my family and friends.
Grateful for Grande Prairie.
Grateful for the opportunities I can see coming and for the ones I don’t even know about yet.
And most of all, grateful for a God who has been incredibly faithful through every season of it.
